JT Group Staff

The Group employs a total of 19 permanent staff and prides itself on the long service record of its staff averaging 17 years.

Key Members:

John Hund –  Chairman – Co Founder : John has a BaLLb and HDip Tax – He has worked in the Oil Industry as legal advisor developing  retail networks prior to founding the group. John has specialized skills in lease negotiation and all legal aspects as well as general management and construction.

Peter Hund – Managing Director: Peter has a Bsc in Building Management and worked in Construction with Bovis Plc in the UK  before joining the Group in 1990. Peter  is responsible for the financial management of the Group.  Peter is responsible for the acquisition of land and buildings and construction of new projects. Peter also oversees the day to day operations and the management  and  marketing of the property portfolio together with the Group's  in-house property managers.

Ennerine Brits - Property Manager: Ennerine joined the Group in 2017 after working for the Moolman Group. Ennerine has specialised skills and experience in property management as well as negotiation and drafting of leases. Ennerine also oversees the control and management of the Cape Town portfolio. 

Marinda Huntley - Property Controller (Cape Town) Marinda joined the Group in 1995 after working for Lewis Trafalgar Property Managers. Marinda is responsible for control of the day to day operation of the Cape Town office and management of the properties in the Cape portfolio. Marinda has specialised skills in property management.

Collette Strydom - Accountant Collette is responsible for the Group accounting and financial management and audit preparation. Collette has specialised skills in debtors control, payroll and bookkeeping.

Shannell Marais - Admin and Creditors Assistant  Shannell is responsible for the full creditors function as well as multiple administration duties. She joined the group in 2023.
